Not sure what this is all about? Have questions but aren't sure what to ask or you're afraid to ask? No worries. Below are some of our most commonly asked questions but feel free to drop us a line by clicking "contact" in the above navigation.

How much does a web site cost?

Understandably, this is our most frequently asked question and the hardest to answer without more information. Pricing a web site without a basic understanding of one's needs would be like a contractor quoting you the price of a house without giving him or her any information about what's entailed. Customized web sites can range in price from $3000 to upwards of $100,000 or more depending what goes into producing the site. We work with organizations big and small with budgets to match.

What about "out of the box" solutions? How are those different from what you do?

In certain cases "out-of-the-box" web sites are an ideal solution for one. If you're looking for a quick, automated, highly templated web site that requires little to no customization then perhaps some of those services are right for you. However, seldom do such solutions address the unique business or programatic needs of an organization.

Primarily, we create customized solutions that address your unique business goals and objectives. We view web sites as business tools more than online brochures. We also work with clients who currently use templated solutions such as Joomla or Drupal to provide more customized tools or layouts.

What's the biggest stumbling block for launching a web site?

Frankly, the biggest stumbling block in the web development process is content. No matter how well-designed, functional or cool a web site is, if there's no "there" there it's time and money not well spent. People come to your web site to learn something about you - primarily through your content. One of the first things we do when starting a project is to provide clients with tools to develop their content.

I'm not located in the Boston area, does that make it harder to work with you?

Not at all. We've successfully worked with clients from Boston to Cape Town and many points in between. We employ the latest online tools to make project communication clear and effective whether you're local or afar.

We have our own graphic designer, do you work with other design firms?

Yes, absolutely. A number of our projects come to us with either a graphic design template or designer attached. We play well with others and enjoy collaborative projects. Good design matters to us and we work hard at helping a client realize their visual design goals and dreams whether they're created by us or someone else.

We like our web site and just want to add a few new things...do you do that?

Yes, we do that. Web site add-ons and content mangement system integration are two of our specialities. We've also created full-fledged, robust online communities for organizations that integrate seamlessly into their current web site.

Do you really work in a farm house?

Actually, no. We work from an office between Harvard and Central Squares in Cambridge, Massachusetts. However, we were founded in (and frequent ) a Maine farm house - thus the name.
